Don't you just love finding products that are versatile and can be used in a variety of ways? I do! It's one of the many reasons I love Stampin' Up! products and love being a demonstrator! Whenever that happens, I like to call it "stamp-a-gineering"! It's a mix of stamping and engineering!
Since getting my first package of Watercolor Wonder Notecards at Founders retreat last September, I've enjoyed how quick I can create a card with these beautiful watercolor paper notecards.
Each package contains 5 different designs, 4 of each, a total of 20 notecards. Here's a simple one using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and the FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set See Ya Later.
Here I just switched up the tag a bit using one of the zig zag edgelit from the Finishing Touches Edgelits. (I don't know about you, but I just thought this alligator tag was screaming zig zag edge!) It's the little things!
Here are some tips for making your tag!
Dimensions for the layered tag:
Basic Black cardstock layer. . . 2" x 3-3/4"
Very Vanilla cardstock layer. . . 1-7/8" x 3-5/8"
Punch one end of the Basic Black with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Insert Very Vanilla cardstock into punch and make certain that it's centered on your punch. (Turn punch over so you can see your cardstock and center between the edge guides of punch. See arrows in photo.) Then punch!
Here's how I set up my cardstock for the zig zag edge. As long as your edges match when you set the edgelit over your cardstock, your tags will layer nicely.
